They passed a bill allowing states to withhold federal family planning funds from Planned Parenthood. Despite the FACT that Planned Parenthood provides essential health care and information to millions of women, children and men - and the FACT that federal dollars are already barred from being used to fund abortions - the administration has advanced the fallacy of the abortion issue to appease the Radical "Christian" Right and the racists who see planned parenthood as an organization that uses tax dollars to provide care to undeserving people. No doubt, this bill will hurt families. It is a careless proposition that will lead to increased illness and death, especially in communities that are already at risk. Day62 Another day, another reason to #BurnAFlag – Corruption. Today, House Intelligence Committee Chair Devin Nunes learned that intelligence agencies surveilling foreign nationals may have inadvertently picked up Trump and members of his transition team. The ethical response would have been to share that intercepted information immediately with his ranking member, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif) and the other committee members. However, Nunes, a member of Trump's transition team and a reliable collaborationist, ran with the information, NOT to the Intelligence Committee, but to Paul Ryan and Donald Trump. America, we have a problem. While the House Intelligence Committee hearings have the potential to provide long sought answers about Trump-Russia connections and their meddling in our elections, it is unlikely we will hear of any revelations. It seems Committee Chair Nunes has already decided there is no evidence of collusion between Trump administration officials and the Russians, even before hearing testimony from the intel chiefs. The focus instead is to be shifted to determining who leaked information to the media, because apparently it is not as important to know who committed the crimes, but rather who had the audacity to expose the crimes. Meanwhile, it is becoming increasingly obvious that Trump has much to hide. Questions about his lunatic rants accusing Obama and the Brits of spying on him will muddle the investigation, which is precisely his goal. Throwing a bone to the doggedly persistent democrats, Nunes has admitted, though without accusing Trump of lying, that there is no evidence for his wiretap claims. Smoke and mirrors.
