A delightful twist on the classic burger, this Fried Bologna Pimento Cheese Chili Burger is a flavor-packed sandwich with a Southern touch. It's perfect for those who love a little spice and a lot of cheesy goodness!
Ingredients: 4 burger patties. 4 bologna slices. 4 hamburger buns. 1 cup pimento cheese spread. 1/2 cup chili canned or homemade. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapeos. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set the grill or pan on medium-high heat. Add salt and pepper to the burger patties after brushing them with vegetable oil. For medium-rare or any other level of doneness you want, cook the burger patties for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side. While the burgers are cooking, heat a different skillet over medium heat. Add the bologna slices and cook them for two to three minutes on each side, until they are lightly browned. Warm the chili up in a small saucepan. To make spicy mayo, put mayonnaise, pickled jalapeos, and cilantro in a small bowl and mix them together. Cover each burger with pimento cheese on the bottom half of each bun when they're done. Spread some cooked burger on top of the pimento cheese. Put a piece of fried bologna on top of every burger. Put warm chili on top of the sliced bologna. Put the top half of each bun on top of the chili and spread the spicy mayo on it. Make sure your Fried Bologna Pimento Cheese Chili Burger is hot before you eat it.
