My friend and I have decided to try this one. She’s from Perry Road and just a few minute walk away from the place.

We’ve ordered double chz burger with bacon and fries meal. We’re both hungry at that time, so we’ve upsized our fries! YEY! We know that our meal will be served after a few minutes, so we have taken the chance and read some of the “posts” inside the resto.

The place is simple and offers an intimate aura to its customers. No WIFI! I like places where there is no connection to the cyber world. For me, it promotes communication through verbal connection and interaction; and only few places offer that nowadays. Well, back to the place, there are pieces of paper on our table (every table haha), and yeah, we goof around a bit. Hahaha. I wrote a message for our friends (and they’ve seen it a few weeks after!).

When our food had arrives, we chomp and chomp and chomp. The patty is still juicy and soft. Not the gooey-chewy but soft and tender. The patty itself is delicious and tasty. The vegetables are quite good and fresh. Well, we’ve ordered dbl chz with bacon but I’ll be honest, when I was eating, I hadn’t felt the presence of bacon. I realize that after few bites, then I looked for some traces of bacon. And when I’ve found it, I felt a bitsy tinsy disappointed.

Their dressing compliments their burger really well and it had added up to the boost of flavors. The fries! JEEZ. For me, it was the best fries I’ve had, ever. It was topped with ground beef and cheese sauce and it was spectacular. Well, that was overrated but it was true. And the meal is served with unlimited glass of iced tea :) The iced tea is good, nothing special about it.

My experience with this burger was splendid; the place, the chat over the food (thanks to fact that they don’t have any wireless connection), the comfort, the social interaction through post-its and the food itself. Over-all, the bacon was the only thing they could improve, yey bacon! And I hope that next time, I could really taste you and not go looking if you’re there.

Price: Quite expensive (for a student like me) but the food’s worth it

Place/Location: Few seats are offered so if the place is packed you’ll have to wait for a free table (but again, it’s worth the wait) / Along the highway (just take Balagtas Jeep if you are from Alangilan or Alangilan Jeep if you are from Bayan)
