“Seriously... another fight? Is there something in the water in this town?” The brunette muttered under her breath as once again her journey home was interrupted by a trio of high school boys in the middle of a scuffle. Yorie hadn’t been back in Morioh long, but she wasn’t sure if she recalled it being quite so rowdy when she was a child. She’d nearly adjusted her route and gone on her merry way when something about one of the boys caught her attention.
He was way too tall and his aura much too intense to be that sensitive little kid she once knew... but those green eyes.
She’d never seen that particular hue anywhere else.
“Bunsei...?” The moment his name left her lips in a breathless whisper she knew. It had to be him.
Forgetting her intention to avoid conflict, Yorie nonchalantly strode over, smack dab into the middle of the fray. One of the boys that she didn’t recognize turned to her, confused and and irritated by her sudden intrusion - but before he could open his mouth, let alone get a swing in, she tapped him lightly on the chest. For the briefest of moments a white glove materialized over her fingers and her stand took effect.
“Excuse me,” She barely cast him a glance but he stepped back - eyes suddenly welling up with tears before he took off running.
Unfazed and quite focused, Yorie continued to saunter up to the tallest boy - unable to hide the delight in her voice as she beamed up at him, “Is that you, Bun-bun?”
It was never out of the ordinary when someone tries to pick on Bunsei , yet in most cases they ended up regretting it and this was no exception either. But this time this guy had managed to piss him off to the last stage of his own anger. He never took lightly to insults let alone anyone who 'involved his mother' into this. That was legit the last line anyone had to bring in and they were asking for a beat down until they grow numb entirely. A crowd began to swarm around them and no one really tried to stop them , they were actually cheering for them to fight further . Bunsei didn't pay attention to his own surroundings and was ignoring completely the crowd around himself before he jabbed the guy in the face with his fist . For a loud mouth he sure was a poor fighter because by the looks of it his little lackeys tried to get in on the fight but failed to even touch him , it seems like he had a little crowd that did his dirty work for him , those types of people were Bunsei's favorite , all bark and no bite just trying to claim that they are on top of the world , but he was no pushover . Bunsei finally took his swing on the guy who claimed to be so great and threw in a few punches into his stomach and his face as his nose and mouth began to bleed. Of course he tried to defend himself yet there was something... something very odd giving Bunsei a small pinch of advantage in this whole situation until he finally knocked the guy over and just looked down on him. ->"Get up." It wasn't even a request it was more like a demand because he wasn't done beating him until something he didn't quite expect happened , he noticed the strange sudden change of scenery around him , he peeked barely over his side before returning his gaze fully on the man that was sitting on the ground. He was certain that someone was going to try and jump in and stop them... but what he didn't expect was who is it going to be? He didn't paying any serious attention as he began to approach the student , something caught him off guard... and that something was the call of his name and what came after it 'Bun-Bun'... he hasn't heard that nickname in so long... and there was only a few who called him that. Bunsei paused himself for a short moment to notice a girl... a brown-haired girl with purple eyes , wearing a school uniform and a red barrette on her head... those features.... those eyes... could it really be? No... it can't be.. his mind must be playing tricks on him until he heard his name again . He glanced over at the short brown-haired girl in shock 'No way that's her... I don't believe it... ' a thought crossed his mind as he was trying to collect the information that was processing through his brain currently. He got really confused for a moment there when the guy who he was about to beat the crap out of suddenly looked like he was about to cry and then just left without saying a word... he figured that the punk had finally came to his senses and decided to run away like the little coward he is. Luckily however after the whole little fiasco was done the crowd began to leave. The brunette girl just stared at him looking rather happy , Bunsei found himself in lack of words at the moment.. now he was just certain it was her.. there was no way that it was someone else.. he could recognize those eyes anywhere... the same kind eyes he recalls in his childhood memories. Bunsei just looked to the side , now feeling rather embarrassed perhaps it was the strange sensation that was kicking him in the stomach that she would be so disappointed in him... regardless when they separated when they were children... he kept her dear no matter the amount of distance that was between them... surely it was very hard and complicated back then because a lot was happening... but he just grew scared. But here she is again... standing right in front of him. Bunsei brought his hand behind his neck and began to rub it nervously. ->"What a surprise running into you here... out of all places... Yorie..." He said between a few pauses as he would just still keep his gaze to
the side . The amount of courage he had gone through when it came to certain situations... yet here he was standing barely having any courage to look at her.
