- are those pipe cleaners for the armature, and if so does the fuzz replace the stuffing for the slim arms? or does the armature need wrapping before placing into the plush?

- what material is she? it looks like minky but i cant tell for certain

- are you using a pattern for her body or making one yourself? the head and neck look great !

Those are not pipecleaners! Tho i do think you could use them, they may not have as much strength as a full wire body would. Since pipecleaners are only so big you have regular stops which could become weak points. But what i use to make the body is just wire armature!! Twisted together for strength then covered in yarn!! Thats what give it the look of pipe cleaners. I personally find it helps hide the hard feel of the wire and helps bulk the stuffying aspect more evenly.

But as for whether it replaces stuffing, it depends. If the shape of my pattern is a slim noodle like her arms then yes the yarn will be enough, its just trial and error to see how many layers of yarn fill out the pattern. But say like her legs where i gave her calves and hips the yarn can only do so much, the rest i fill with stuffing.

Ooof for material im not really sure ;w; i got my material off a friend so im not sure exactly. Mind you ive made her in straight cotton before and looked equally as cute and soft. But i think your onto what it is.

Haha i make all my patterns myself orz manymany trail and errors. Tho thats not to say i dont get help from existing patterns. Like her head for example, the one i used for this one is my own pattern but i used to use the head pattern from this video, tho would change the chin and ad noses.
