Part 2 of my series of experimental Fakemon drawings featuring the shiny versions of the Symphora starters. Shiny Bunfire isn't quite as different from its standard coloration as the other two, but I still feel like it works (especially with its final evolution's design). I ditched the halftone that looked kinda awkward on the Peckatrice redo, and instead gave the shading harder edges and different colors than usual. I also made the whole outline dark blue instead of black, and then applied shades of orange to it as necessary. I was also a bit more mindful of where I placed the lighter colors on the outline this time. I really like the result. What do you think?
(I swear This is not a Loppunny and Braixen Fusion)

super rough concept for a Fire/Fairy rabbit starter based on the rabbit in the moon!
Y'all can fight me on Sidney/Fuku but I'm not changing it, I'm in Rarepair Hell and if I can't create for my own Rarepair then I don't even want to write.
I checked. Bystander Effect is thus far the only story that has them as a pairing and I'm not getting rid of it.
Fight me, they're my teeny tiny ship and I'm gonna fucking sail the oceans of the universe with them.

To say that I am excited for the new gen is a severe understatement. I can't wait for Sword and Shield's release! One thing I noticed when they showed off the starters was that Scorbunny bears a striking resemblance to my own little fire bun, Bunfire. I'm kinda hoping it doesn't end up evolving into a Fire/Fighting-type too, but the design is just screaming it. Just gotta wait and see, I suppose.
Two starters down, one to go! I wasn't sure how to handle the fire, and the tutorials I've found didn't cover that, so I just kinda winged it. This little guy ended up being a lot smaller than it should have (probably because I was underestimating the size to leave room for those ears), but I couldn't really fix that without re-drawing the lineart all over again. At least now I know to check that stuff next time. Aside from that, I'm pretty happy with the result!
