14 months: he's a lot more whiney, calls for dad and mom ALL DAY LONG. He's transitioning to needing things like food and milk...to wanting...this, that, everything. Not gonna lie...I got irritated the other day. He kept whining and whining for no good reason. I handed him over to my husband and said, "he's so annoying sometimes!!!" 😧 today's a new day. He's transitioning from baby to full blown toddler and I've gotta be patient. I want him to know there are consequences in life but that one can explore and be free as well...omg this is just the beginning of parenting 😣 I just need to stick with the basics for now...like...comb hair. A full day of headache inducing, back to back meetings then coming home to a sick baby explains my half smile. I've gotta learn to be a little more like my son. He had a 101+ fever for 3 days but he's got the biggest smile on his face. I get really sick of green leaf salads so I changed things up tonight. Think I'll have to make this more often! White rice with Thai basil beef + a celery, carrot, and cilantro salad. 10 minute Thai basil beef: Sautee beef or any other meat with a chopped onion in a little oil (I prefer ghee or grapeseed). Add 3 cloves of garlic and a dash of ginger and jalepeno all minced. after about 5 minutes of stirring and letting everything cook, add the following mixture: 2.5 tbsp fish sauce, 2 tbsp water, 1 tbsp raw honey (or stevia equivalent). Stir it all up and then when it's all cooked up, add a cup of basil in and you're ready to eat!
