The John Wick franchise is like The action movie of all action movies. There's the barest thread of a plot and the producers were like 'people won't care as long as there's enough Action.' And people did not care. People loved its complete plotlessness so much they made 4! It has everything: kung fu fighting, ridiculous bad guys, impossible to survive falls and injuries, Bulletproof Suits, silly gadgets, guns with infinite bullets, a secret criminal society, multiple international locations, and a dead dog to avenge, 4 times. With Keanu Reeves making exactly 2 expressions through all of the movies. It's fantastic.
