PJ and Gradient both latched on to fresh like parasites (ironic) and he let them so they’re family now. Ink and Error are both deadbeats, Error because he didn’t want kids and is in jail anyways (Gradient could be useful to him though) and Ink because he keeps forgetting where he left the damn things and fresh keeps swooping in to take them before/if he remembers they exist.

PJ (He/They) hates both his parents. Error could give less of a shit and Ink still thinks they’re chill and can’t take a hint.

Gradient is scared of Error. But he thinks of Ink as a weird friend, and Ink thinks the same about him. They’re chill, and it pisses PJ and Fresh off to no end.

Fresh is just annoyed at the terrible parenting and child abandonment.

Error and Ink are not together. PJ and Gradie are both results of fights the two of them had before their truce. They hate each other (usually) and i dont ship them i dont like errorink

Kaia is like. the protector of souls. You die, reaper takes your soul, Kaia is responsible for giving that soul a new body

she's got a special connection to said souls, can communicate with them on a whole nother level

It used to be a really big jellyfish that kept being reborn that was in charge of all the souls, but then there were too many people being born at once, so the jellyfish beached itself in the realm of the gods. Reaper found it, and had to pull out this little glowing egg thing that was inside.

Usually the eggs will form whatever its parent is, which is usually the big Jellyfish

but since Reaper ended up raising her, Kaia ended up mimicking his features instead. She can only mimick what she sees, so she doesn't have it all down perfectly, because he didn't exactly know to teach her about skeleton anatomy, but she was able to improvize. That's why she has ecto replacing her stomach and legs. It's just the hardened jellyfish bits that she was supposed to get. Somewhat malleable, but the rest of her body solidified into bone
