i’m curious about how you imagine blot’s appearance like when you write?? Does it wear clothes?? Or is it naked?? Human shaped or blob?? 👀
To me, the Blot is seen as a humanoid shadow figure since its been described multiple times as having arms, legs, head, fingers, ect. Its pitch black with no discernable features yet you can tell if its looking at you. I feel like it can never have a full face. Though when expressions are described, you can either see its eyes or mouth but never really both??
I don't usually imagine it with clothes because it doesn't really have a need to, though on occasion in certain settings I can picture it wearing some things. Clothes seem more like an option for the Blot—not necessary. I personally picture it larger, though that is because a lot of people are larger than my 5'3 ass. I don't picture the Blot as bald and I imagine it has hair. The Blot is more like a silhouette, I suppose.
It's genderless and described loosely so readers can project whatever they'd like onto the Blot. (make it your type 😁👍)
