Is it possible for ASL to use bfl-2 script?
Nnnnnnnot really, the spatial aspects of ASL are a lot more complicated than BFL-2, which is tied to contact points along the arm or relative positions from the head in the air. There would be a lot of ASL signs where the signer's hands interact or do motions that would be impossible to transcribe in BLF-2. Visual sign language in BLF-2 directly mirrors the tactile version of the language and would appear strangely tight and structured to a human signer.

Their backstory is is that they’re a bit of an outcast in bug ferret society, they’re simply too slippery. They hang out with other ferrets who might be outcasted from average ferret society for whatever reason and aliens (hence their interest in the human dominated annual oily contest) however some question whether their slipperiness is natural or something they choose to do, as a compulsion perhaps? They’re certainly doing it at a large expense to their social life. Either way, nobody has seen what they look like under the oil
