to the anon who's writing a ling paper! I did something like this (i'm a ling major),&what you can do is look for the instances where the characters add suffixes that aren't standard english & then try to find what they all have in common(like a rule) &then compare it 2 another rule in english that has to do with suffixation. See if they both serve their purposes,etc. Or pick another idea that's been discussed in other research,and take it frm there. msg me if u wnt more help/advice
