Sometimes you need to get out and move around, get into a place you don't know, a neighborhood that isn't yours even if it is so close, but still foreign. It cleared my head, breathed fresh air into the doubt, made me—not stop thinking, but thinking... from a new angle? I started writing as I walked, recording the words that moved as quickly as my feet. These words, this incomplete piece I started, it wasn't because I got over my doubt, got through it, but because of it. This was the only way to understand it.
