❤: Opinion on love
“L-Love? Eh, I’unno, I’ve never really been ‘in love’ before… That lovey-dovey stuff kinda goes over my head. If the right person came ‘round, someday, then maybe…?”
💞 - expressing their feelings
◜➥ TWO: EXPRESSING FEELINGS ⁽ ᵃˢᵏ ᵍᵃᵐᵉ ⁾
In the case of Sonic, it depends on what feelings he’s expressing.
Sonic is very compassionate. It’s a core part of his identity to be sympathetic and understanding, and these traits really shine through in how he interacts with others. While some emotions may toss him for a loop, such as intense affection or crying, he’s no stranger to them and he’ll still go out of his way to be as polite and kind as he can be while handling them. He takes the feelings of those around him very seriously, and he’ll only tease when there is a time and place for it.
As for his own feelings? That’s a bit more complicated. Having been on his own from a young age, Sonic learned that it’s much better to get up and keep going on with things than to slow down— for anything. He’d much rather lock things away than confront them head on when it comes to his own insecurities and fears. It’s more efficient, he figures, and leaves less room for vulnerability. Sonic is very unlikely to open up to someone about much of anything unless they’re very close, and the circumstances call for it. He’s a stubborn hedgehog.

Timon looks up at the wolf. With blistering red fur like he got a huge sun burn in the Savannah (and somehow it effected fur and not the skin below the fur).
“Wait... it’s not what it looks like!”
【@buddyiisms.】 -- ❤'d for a starter.
A loooong drawn out whistle was this wolf(or was he a fox?)'s introduction to the blue hog, who had been perched on top of the clock in the Station Square train station, waiting for his train to pull in. "What's the get up about?" He cocked a smile down at him then pushed himself off the clock to land on his feet on the platform.
It was strange for Sonic to see another of his own kind in these parts, not that 'mobians' were particularly rare, of course, just that Sonic was sure he knew of all the ones that resided in Station Square. So he circled the wolf, glanced him up and down once or twice, before holding his hand out for the wolf to shake.
"I'm Sonic, by the way. Sonic the Hedgehog." Always the same way of introducing himself, Sonic never seemed to grow out of that no matter how many years drifted by. "Can't say I've seen you around here before, you new in town?"
