For those of you who don’t know, this is an Officer involved shooting that took place in Denver on June 14th 2018. - - These two officers responded to a reported robbery of a 7 eleven. Upon their arrival, a bystander began to alert the officers of the suspect, informing them that he had a weapon. While attempting to make contact, shots began being fired. Just like that ladies and gentlemen, all hell broke loose. Now let’s break down what we’re seeing in this bodycam footage. - - The first officer was running after the suspect when he started getting shot at seconds later. The officer began returning fire while moving back towards cover. Once behind cover, he realizes that he has been shot and notifies his partner. Conducts a tactical reload of his pistol, while maintaining phenomenal muzzle control. The officer then picks up security, staying in the fight while his partner applies a tourniquet to his leg...
