Budweiser ha desarrollado lo último en medios sociales, un vaso en donde te enlazas con tu perfil en Facebook a través de un código QR que tiene el envase en su parte inferior. Esto hace que te conectes automáticamente con las personas con las que brindes.

How have I survived 26 years of living without the Büddy Cup just baffles me. I've always loved the fine craftsmanship of Anheuser-Busch InBev, but this stroke of genius just solidifies Budweiser as my beverage of choice.  Thank god Budweiser created this software-integrated drinking vessel to aide my social ineptitude and to finally help me make friends. I'm drinking all of my craft beer out of this now, even when I'm at home by myself.

Like I said in my last post...Facebook does it again! This time, they have hit the social scene with the infamous beer company, Budweiser.

Meet Buddy Cup, the Solo Cup 2.0. As the video above says, the Buddy Cup takes advantage of toasting drinks by sending a friend request to the person you are toasting when you clink cups. For Budweiser this seems like a creative transmedia campaign; however, will it be well received? I think that a product like this does bring Budweiser even closer to its consumers via social media; however, I can't see these cups lasting any period of time. I would be interested to see how they implement the Buddy Cup, because something like one time parties in the country's bigger cities could raise hype about the brand in a beneficial way. However, should Budweiser try to sell these cups to various bars and clubs, I think they would encounter some issues. 

Ce n’est pas d’hier que Budweiser cumule les succès marketing. Nous n’avons qu’à penser aux mémorables publicités du Super Bowl, les classiques chevaux Clydesdales et le «wassup» qui ont marqué l’histoire.
