Aoife had been wandering the side of the road feeling numb. She was just trying to put one foot in front of the other after a rather bad fight. She needed to get back to camp after that she could figure out the rest. Her head is pounding and her vision is foggy but she just needs to put one foot in front of the other. She is broken from her fog when he speaks. She looks over and blinks a few times slowly before she looks down at herself. Her hands are bloody so are her arms and the front of her dress.

"My husband." She choked out letting fake tears fall she really is too good at this even in her broken state. She had no husband but she could still spin a lovely tale about one enough to hopefully make him help her. "We were traveling and some men robbed us- I barely made it out alive. I just ran I... I don' have anything not a horse not money just..." She covers her mouth letting out shaky sobs.

Charles was not someone who really spoke most called him a man of few words. When he did speak it was trivial stuff nothing important not about himself. He had lived a hard life he could acknowledge that on his own but it was hard to admit it to others. He hated feeling prying eyes on his life and didn't want to be pitied. Sometimes there were exceptions to his self imposed rules though and today was one of those days.

Something about the day and the way these drinks were hitting him had just made the stories flow out. Losing his mother. Losing his father. Being alone. One tragedy happening after the next until he finally stopped talking. He wonders if he had said that even half as many words this entire month as he had just over a few drinks. He goes quiet and just listens finally.

               "I can get the info you want in less than that." Oozing with confidence, ravishing woman was quick to adjust curled hair, reapply makeup in car window and zhuzh up the outfit she'd been wearing for the past two days ( groupie life sometimes just be like that ). Spritz of perfume was applied and everything was tossed in saddle bag that was kept in the carseat she originally occupied. "If I can get it before the five minute mark, can we up the tip for my service?"

               Leaning against giant vehicle, Jewel couldn't help but sigh in frustration. "And your version of helping is just cheering from the side?" Young woman responded, body language clear that she was less than impressed. "Aren't you meant to be in charge? Cops and security I know usually don't sit back." But then again, arenas filled with rabid fans and rockstars was a totally different environment to a small logging town that the tour bus happened to break down in. "Do you not think I'm with the band or something? It's totally not my fault I got locked out of the bus." There was the small stamping of foot as if that was going to help her case. "Can't you like, legally break in? My stuff is literally in that bus!"

His time in Twin Peaks had extended for far longer than Robert ever thought that he would have. When he had first arrived, the plan was to simply stay for a handful of days before going on his way. The thought that came to him every time he realized that he had stayed far longer than planned was to simply think that he would leave soon enough. And then the process would repeat over and over.

At that point, he was almost semi-familiar with a good handful of residents. If the majority of that handful were people that worked at the sheriff's office? Well. That was no one's thought but his own.

"What's wrong with drinking at four am? It's not like I'm going to be awake for much longer."

Robert was not going to be mentioning the fact that he had definitely started drinking far earlier than that. It was not enough for him to be drunk but it was enough to give him a pleasant little buzz. What better way to tire himself out and get some good sleep other than passing out because you were a bit drunk? It might not be the healthiest mindset but it had worked for him so far.
