"Murderbot S1 was a show I waited for 7 months to start last year because of the actors strike….this was the first sci-fi series I had to cut a lot of utilitarian and tactical “real clothes”. For example, the multi-convertible linen coat can be worn as a vest, jacket, coat, or sleeves jacket….it had more than 10 functional pockets with zippers and cargo inset colour panels….we tapped out all the orange zippers for the mass multiples made for several of the main characters. The jumpsuit was also multi-convertible….there was also an episode of a tv series called The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon which I had to cut 2 main characters played by Alexander and Noma, and a handful of guest star cameos including John Cho and Clark Greg, as well as more than 10 BGs in the yellow and leather stripe uniforms. This was one of the most fast paced and gruelling 4 months jobs I’ve done, but in the end I am glad I got to do a uniform show unlike what I’ve done before. It was also great to work with Alexander whom I cut 3 costumes for, Noma whom I was reunited again since we worked on The Wheel of Time in Prague in 2020, and 2 Handmaid’s Tale actresses Tattiawna Jones and Amanda Bruegel who had the most bad ass and intricate detailed 3 piece uniform as the GrayChris Blue Leader."
