Ordo wasn’t even sure why he was going to this party. Or masquerade, he said to himself, mockingly. He knew hardly anyone here, and he was no closer to finding out anything about his family, or how he could get back home.

Ordo sighed deeply, stood from his chair, picked up his [Kal’s] jacket and left. Who knows, maybe there will be a fight. 

As he approached the party he could see what looked like more of these fake, bitch clones. Their armor was hideous, their mannerisms shit. Ordo grunted as he walked past them. Thinking only of his brothers. Ordo mumbled curses in Mando’a as he walked inside. There were people everywhere. More of those shinys, some who looked like officers or people of importance. Red flags hung all over the place. He looked for the bar, and as he did, he saw someone familiar. 

Ordo walked over and took a spot next to her at the counter. It was Ami, the girl from the beach whom he’d almost gotten into a fight with.

“What’s goin on?” Ordo was never a good talker, but he tries.

Ordo knew he had to do something. He, being a soldier could taste the unrest in the air everywhere he went. He decided to go and get a drink, though the voice in the back of his head told him that’s a terrible idea. 

He grabbed Kal’s jacket and walked out of his room. The sun stung his eyes and made his head throb worse then it already did. Ordo knew he couldn’t do anything to help the damned first order. The thought of their ‘stormtroopers’ enraged him, made him think of his fallen brothers. The real ones. 

As he was about to walk into the cantina, again, when he noticed a poster on the wall next to the door. 

Ben hadn’t spoken to Rey since he had met Obi Wan and there wasn’t a single person he wanted to tell about the changes he was making more than her. She saw it all along, never once faltering in her believe that Ben Solo was still there under the facade of Kylo Ren, that he would return to the light. And while he still wasn’t there a hundred percent, he was slowly becoming the man he used to be, the man he wanted to be. He knew that it was her faith in him that lead him down this path in the first place, pushing him towards the light that always making him feel as though he could change. She always remained so steadfast in her belief that it wasn’t too late for him. He closed his eyes, trying to connect to her as had done so many times before.  Their connection was strong, Ben always feeling her energy no matter how many lightyears they were apart. It was only heightened by the fact that they were on the same planet together, no longer separated by such a distance. "Rey...” he spoke, feeling the connection strengthening, sensing her more so than before. He wondered if she already knew, if she could feel the shift within him. There was so much about their connection they had not learned about yet.

Ben had his usual tantrum when he found out that Obi Wan was taken into custody, something that the troopers were probably used to by now. He stormed around the base, demanding to know who had authorized his arrest, which probably only made everyone wonder why this was such a big deal but Ben really couldn’t care less. He’d come up with some lie later. All he was focused on was making sure this never happened again. If something had happened to Obi Wan he would have never forgiven himself. 

“You’re a disappointment.” He spoke the words with such an icy tone, knowing it would cut Nyra deep. He knew how much she wanted to impress him and maybe that was the very issue of it all. This needed to stop, she was just becoming a problem. “I think your judgement was clearly off, lieutenant. I think you need to take a step back and decide what your priorities are.” He wasn’t really making sense. Nyra had done what a First Order officer was supposed to do but he was the Supreme Leader, he didn’t have to make sense, right? 

Walking through the first order base, the sound of boots echoed amongst the empty hallways. The man wasn’t surprised that there wasn’t anyone in the halls, as most people decided to disperse upon hearing him coming, not wanting to interact with the finicky Supreme Leader for fear of getting on his bad side. He didn’t care. If anything, he liked it better not having to deal with the stares from the First Order laborers. 

Turning a corner swiftly, he sensed where his sister was located, heading in her direction. Kylo was thankful for his sister. Throughout everything, the one person who was always by his side was Hope. He didn’t know what he would do without her. The thought scared him, which was a feeling that he wished deep down that he could subdue. Fear only made him weak.  Knocking on her door, Kylo waited for her to invite him in, hands hanging at his side.

Who: Rey

Where: The Wishing Festival

 Kylo was absentmindedly walking around the wishing festival, a half empty glass of wine in his hand and his eyes darting between the many different merchants and musicians. As usual, Kylo’s mind couldn’t help but to wonder if Rey was at this festival too. Just about anywhere Kylo went, his thoughts were consumed with the other, especially now as Rey was set out to teach Kylo the ways of the light. It was an amusing idea, that Kylo had to be taught how to be selfless and good once again, but if there was anyone who could teach Kylo to channel his sadness and anger the right way, it would be Rey. He wasn’t sure what was to come of this all, but he couldn’t see the harm in letting her try to help him. He was at a seeming crossroads with his future, and before committing fully to the dark side, he needed to explore the pull he continuously felt towards the light. It would either result in him being able to finally commit himself fully to the dark or find peace in giving into the light. Either way, he hoped it would just stop the constant conflict that was inside him.

Just as the thought of her crossed his mind, he sensed her. The corners of his mouth tugged upwards into a smile that he couldn't help as he turned around to face her. He figured she might not have recognized him in his more casual outfit and so he took a step forward, attempting to capture her attention. “Hello.” he said, curls flopping in front of his face as he gave a small nod to show that he was here without malicious intent.
