Usage:

They don’t have very specific lore that already exists for Bryni or Rabbit vastaya in specific. So I’ve made some up.

Rabbit vastaya lore, or Bryni lore.

Often associated with the moon goddess or fertility goddess depending on the area that they inhabit. They are known to be a docile kind people who are non violent and shy, often opting to avoid humans. They are known to be uniquely good with herbs and sensing changes in the earth, making them good at building parts of their villages underground but close to the surface. In some places it’s rumored that some Bryni develop antlers like the mythical jackalope.

Hare vastaya lore.

Not given a distinctive name or distinction, often also choosing to fall under the Bryni umbrella.

Based off Irish mythology. Hare vastaya were originally a kind of fairy or fey who would slip from the underworld into the over world. Legends would say that to harm one would bring dreadful consequences and bad luck. They were often tricksters in the stories and myths from the regions that this kind of vastaya are from. They’re often larger than their rabbit cousins and are said to look a little more uncanny. Despite this not being the case in nature, hare vastaya and rabbit vastaya often live quite close together. And have often intermixed.
