Why does everyone seem to blame Bryce for everything? Like I’m deeply confused why everyone holds her responsible and refuses to offer her ounce of kindness.
Nesta giving Bryce the Mask
Nesta has so many badass moments, and so many moments when she reveals how good she truly is by fighting for people, but Nesta giving Bryce the Mask, while not a moment when she fights herself (and I do love those moments, violent heroines have my heart) is one of my absolute favourites. We've seen Nesta fight when she's in danger, or a loved one is in danger, or for the humans when they're in danger, but Bryce's world is completely separate from her own. There's no self-interest there in protecting them, or risking giving up the Mask to protect them. She doesn't know anyone from that world, she has no links to that world, and in helping Bryce she's putting her neck on the line in a big way.
But she helps Bryce, because whether or not those lives matter to her, they matter, and she's willing to take a massive risk and help Bryce, if it's the only way they even have a chance of being spared.
And she owns it. Big time.
(Plus, it pisses off Rhys.)
