I’m just going to come out and say that during this entire election cycle, I haven’t had a pure conscience about much of what I’ve said and shared. I believe that this election will be quite rigged (and have for a good while), and it has been a lack of discernment and honesty on my part to act as though one candidate will be “superior” to the other if elected. I honestly don’t believe Trump would be much better than Clinton, and seeing the following video has pretty much settled that thought in my mind.

It is still true that I would never vote for Clinton in a million billion years, but I can no longer in good conscience cast my vote for Trump either. Seeing who it is they truly serve, I can’t get behind either of them. I know this will upset other conservatives, but I’ve made up my mind on this issue. I’ll go through my blog and start to remove things I don’t really stand for anymore, and I will try to emphasize a lot more that America’s real cure is Jesus Christ. Clinton and Trump are both people that need to be saved, and what we should be praying for is not that “x” candidate wins, but that these candidates see the truth and become saved. One post I already removed was the Greg Miller one I recently posted. Going through the comment section there, I saw him use profanity, like “BS”, and the title of the video was inappropriate. Yes, the phrase “dumb ass” appears in the Bible (2 Peter 2:16), but it was never meant to be used on people as an insult.

I should point out that in the video I’m sharing in this post, the preacher says that “you’re not right with God” if you fall into this election business, and the actuality is that if you are saved, you are always right with God. God won’t love you “less” for doing wrong (Romans 8:35-39), but the point the video makes is still valid. I think a lot more of us need to be wary of the deception in America’s political system. The Democrat Party can’t save America, the Republican Party can’t save America; only Jesus can save us.
