I was scrambling to think of something quick for dinner, but then I remembered I’d frozen some Norwegian meatballs! Made brunsaus (but it didn’t turn out brun enough; no gravy browner) and served them with lingonberry jam, roast potatoes, sauerkraut (weird, I know), and leftover kinpira and green beans (yes, weirder). I’m not sure I’d ever made a gravy before, but it turned out well, even the texture!
