HAII so I’ve been working on this on-and-off since November 1st.

I made this using Arrtx acrylic markers in just some regular sketchbook, the paper is suuuuper smooth. I loved working on this! It challenged my skills in a lot of ways that other pieces haven’t in quite some time. I pushed myself to fill in as much negative space as I could and tried colour combinations that I haven’t used before.

To smudge the highlights on Ghostface and Michael on the bottom, I had to stick a piece of tape to my finger and rub/tap the paint into place. These markers dry quick so it took me quite a while to get the look I was going for. Lineart was one of the last things I added, so I had to work with a very faint sketch in order to decide the form of their bodies. Fun fact! Ghostie and Mikey in the bottom left corner were made using only two colours and a crap ton of mixing.

I’m really proud of how this came out! If you notice lighting inconsistencies in the pictures of my art, I had to edit them because my new phone struggles to pick up brighter colours sometimes.
