The Guest - Kdrama Brotp 3
If youâre looking for a good Kdrama with a very touching bromance between three people and some horror, then The Guest is right for you.
Content warning though: Itâs horror, primarily of the demonic possession variety; hence, there is Christian/Catholic lore involved. So if you can roll with that, youâll love this show.
The Bromance:
The taxi driver, the priest, and the detective (but mostly between the driver and the priest because theyâre both dramatic af)

These two didnât like each other on sight. They fought constantly, and they were both suspicious of the other.... And then later on, theyâll barge into each otherâs houses bringing food and water. Theyâll scold the other for being reckless and stupid and in the same episode race against time to save the one in danger. And the bad guys even know how much they care for each other because they use against them. Like LOL.
And towards the end? OMG. Not gonna drop big spoilers, but prepare your heart for this:
MY GOD. HOLY SHIT. I SWEAR. I JUST CANâT EVEN WITH THESE TWO.
Anyway, the detective
The only one with a working brain cell. These three met when they were children because of a tragic event, and out of all three of them, itâs this one who does the heavy-lifting when it comes to investigating, real-world consequences on YOUR CAREER WHEN YOUâRE OUT CHASING DEMONS, punching and kicking, and being level-headed in times of stress.
Those two would have perished without her. Honestly. Also, I really like that thereâs no love story here. Some characters hint at it, but there are absolutely NO STRAIGHT ROMANTIC MOMENTS shown on this show and I LOVE THAT SO MUCH. Serving straight up horror and bromance this show.
Also, I like that she establishes that, in their group, sheâs the senior so she gives no shit.
