Travis had to grab a few things from Bushells when he saw her. At first, he felt okay, like he could go past her without saying hello, or maybe even wave ‘hi’. He could barely go anywhere in town without running into someone he knew and it was just impolite to not say hello. That’s why Travis decided to hide from Brooke instead. As he rounded the corner he tried to keep his eye on the woman and make sure he was away from her. But, in the blink of an eye, his cart bumped into another and he saw it was Brooke standing across from him. “Oh!” he exclaimed, before letting a sigh leave his lips. “I-uh, I didn’t see you there.”
