i'm not 100% but i think it's actually illegal to post indecent pictures (which the abhorrent picture of louise would fall under) of a child under the age of sixteen in victoria, so it's not just against uk law it's against australian as well!

The UK law is a bit tricky I think. I know that you have to be able to prove the intention was sexual gratification or humiliation? I was reading the amendments to the law around upskirting yesterday but it was difficult for me to follow as I didn’t have the original law in front of me haha. So it might be different when it comes to children.

Anyway, it should be illegal to post upskirt photographs full stop. They’re not news, they’re not relevant, they’re just designed to humiliate and objectify women. So I’m glad to hear there’s some legal provisions- thank you for letting me know about that- but even if they don’t, it’s disgusting to me that someone would morally think that’s ok.
