Built by Charles Thellusson, Brodsworth Hall was the Thellusson family home for over 120 years. Designed in the Italianate style of the 1860s. The exhibition ‘Liberty and Lottery’, is named after two slave ships part-owned by one of Brodsworth’s previous owners, Peter Thellusson (1735-97).
