Edwina Ashley Mountbatten, the daughter of the 1st Baron Mount Temple, was the wife of Louis "Dickie" Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, the last Viceroy of India and Prince Philip's uncle and mentor. Dickie was born at Frogmore House in 1900, the son of Prince Louis of Battenberg and Princess Victoria of Hesse and Rhine. His maternal grandmother was Princess Alice, Queen Victoria's third child and second daughter.
Edwina was known for her many affairs, including with India's Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. She inherited the English country house Broadlands from her father. Both Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip and Prince Charles and Princess Diana honeymooned at Broadlands; and it is also rumored that Charles and Camilla used it as a romantic getaway.

I got distracted from photo editing (again) and stumbled upon this outtake from the book David Hicks scrapbooks featuring photos of Grace and Rainier (apparently taken by the designer Hicks himself) visiting the Earl of Mountbatten’s country home, Broadlands, in 1963.
