Finally, Boulder is having a heat wave!! This winter was so brutal - lasting over 8 months.The good thing with the long winter is it brought a lot of snow!!   . . This of course has turned my backyard into a flourishing grassy haven with wild flowers galore. It’s been quite a treat relaxing here after work each day. There’s nothing quite like doing a hiking meditation to the sounds of chirping birds and crickets.  . . I recently partnered with @britausa - and I have been trying out their Filtering Bottle which allows me to drink the tap water found in my house and public facilities without as much chlorine and a yucky taste.  Now I can enjoy the taste of my own tap water and save money on buying plastic water bottles. . . A few years after discovering my love for water, I pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in water chemistry. Nowadays, I spend countless hours maintaining and studying the water around my area. From small, local bodies of water to personal fish tanks where I take care of fish and grow aquatic plants. Through these ventures I have understood the importance of clean water and maintaining an ideal chemical balance in the ecosystem. . . These beautiful views and calm landscapes that we enjoy could be ruined if we do not do our part to clean up the environment. Our waterways could become more and more trashified with garbage like one-time use plastics. Soon enough, our local bodies of water could look very similar to this photo. . . A huge thank you to all of those out there working hard to protect our future! A special shoutout to @britausa, who has made an incredible impact in keeping our water clean!
