As a one woman business, I find myself getting lost in βall the thingsβ ALL. THE. TIME. Emails, website updates, taking photos, applying to shows, booking markets, ordering supplies, scrolling social media, cleaning my studio, editing images, making social media posts, etc (did I mention Iβm a mum, wife and (terrible) housekeeper too?) that sometimes I forget that I have ACTUAL ART to make! π¨ Last night (in the shower, of course), I had the epiphany that I need to dedicate at least 3 hours a day to actual painting. Some days itβs more than this, some days and weeks I go without picking up a brush at all! And I think thatβs my downfall, getting so caught up in all the other things that I actually forget to go back to the very crux of it all. So, hereβs to painting! π©πΌβπ¨ Iβm a painter after all. And maybe, if I sell enough paintings, I can hire someone to do all the other bits!
