The inspiration behind the poppy as a symbol of Rememberance since 1921 to commemorate military personnel who have died in war. I used to hate the idea of celebrating the dead especially if they were "killed in action". . As a person that came from a country that was once been invaded and colonised by the British; giving money to a charity and wear a Poppy flower sounds absurd to me. As these soldiers actually dead because they tried to steal our resources in our own Mother Land. However as time passes by, it struck me that they are human too.
