I'm actually kind of impressed with how this one came out. The original drawing was 9 years old and poorly drawn in MSPaint, so I decided to more or less replicate how she was posed in that one to see how much I’d improved I gotta say, it’s a pretty drastic difference, and I’m surprised she turned out so cute

Today we’ve got Katie “KoolKat” the Hedgeshark. She pretty badly needed to be updated, but I tried not to change her too much. Mostly just a few small changes to make her look like one of my characters and less like she was designed by someone else.

For the first day of OC a Day October, here’s Sparks the Ocelot. She’s had a couple design tweaks, but is mostly the same as the last time I drew her back in 2014.

Starting off week 2 of OC a Day, we have Celestia, a Zelda fan character that was inspired mostly by the Minish Cap. Specifically, she draws a lot of inspiration from Vaati’s humanoid form and wears a Roc’s Cape. And I dunno, I guess she can use some kind of magic? lol I just needed something for her to do with her hands.

Wow, it’s the first time I’ve been even remotely satisfied with a drawing of Rosaro since, like, the first drawing of him back in 2011. He’s based on one of my minstrel party members in Dragon Quest IX. He’s pretty much supposed to be a hypothetical fan child of Psaro and Rose (or Saro and Rosaly) from Dragon Quest IV.

For day 4 of an OC a Day, or as I’m also calling it, OCtober, we have Beline. She was made back when everyone and their grandmother was trying to make the next Seedrian subspecies that would be popular enough for people to want their own. None of my creations ever really caught on, but I still like a lot of the characters that came out of it. Also who the heck let me design a Seedrian, a species based on plants, that’s bell themed and wasn’t based on bluebells? So I redid her clothes to fit that theme better.

Let's be real here, if you thought I was going to make it through the month without drawing at least one fairy OC, you were wrong. He’s had a couple redesigns since I made him, but Zekna’s actually one of the oldest OCs that’s going to be making an appearance this month. I think tomorrow’s character, Sotin, might be the only one who is actually older, and only out of a technicality.

I feel bad for having never named this guy... I can’t decide what to call him though. Heck, I made this guy like 3 or 4 years ago and this is the first time he’s gotten to be in color while wearing clothes. Not sure how I feel about the colors I picked. I couldn’t decide what to do with the clothes.
