When I was plotting this tumblr, I brainstormed names. Inspired by one of my favorite tumblrs, Plastic Kaiju, I arrived at Plastic of the Apes…then I googled it. What I found was this great work of art, Brian Colin’s Plastic of the Apes, capturing the Kubrick Gorilla Soldiers on a mission. I loved it.
