My GBW was 11.65 pounds and my PBV was 6.5 gallons. So, using mash volume = 0.075 * GBW + PBV, I ended up using 7.37 gallons of filtered Monrovia tap water. Uh, let’s keep it simple and call it a #blackipa #allgrain #brewinabag #brewday. OG achieved was 1.058. I’m loving the brew in a bag system, even at 5 gallons. Corrected for temperature, my Original Gravity came out to 1.064, and the recipe had an OG of 1.071.  I do have to say that I like brewing with this method!
