I recently fermented a batch of cider with some blueberry puree in it and it worked out beautifully.
I've been getting a bit into fermentation! I'm running a couple of alcohol brewing experiments right now (one is orange juice wine, god help me when it's ready because I hear it's disgusting) and I'm also taking a crack at fermented sauerkraut which is neat to watch. It's so cool that you can specifically cultivate microbial cultures that if you take good care of them will mostly kill everything except themselves and keep food from going bad. I just have a bunch of wet cabbage and sugary fruit juices and stuff on top of shelves that I've left out for days and it isn't rotting. What the hell.

Did my weekly Gravity reading today and we hit 1.0200 according 9.19% abv. Fermentation has slowed to a crawl while things are falling out of suspension really hope the yeast is stull going. I want this one would get up to 12%. The good news is it no longer smells like a freshly cut lawn. Only time will tell what happens next.
In other news while out and about with friends I was able to aquire some lovely honey from a local vender for my next mead. It tastes like candy, dreams and lavender.
i regret to inform that i am an even bigger nerd than i already seem. sorry guys!!!
i used to do dnd at a local library, but i was a fairly new player, the entire party was a mess in a not-fun way, and i now have beef with three of the members of that party. all that aside, i really do want to get into dnd. like genuinely it seems fun!
mostly i want to homebrew and be a dm. I CAN HEAR THE CLAMOR ALREADY "homebrew as a first experience is so ba-" shhhhhhh. ill learn. but the idea has taken hold and i cant get it out. anyhow if anyone has any tips for dnd PLEASE TELL ME I BEG I BEG AND PLEAD!!!! specifically for homebrewing. and everything else but mainly homebrewing....
