What's going to happen when Ken sees that Peggy broke the pact? I just finished watching the episode and my stomach is all in knots because of the Don/Peggy scenes, and I cried so hard. And I wanted to discuss the episode.
I'd like to say that I thought about this all day - and in a way, I did, but at the same time, I didn't want to think about it because god knows my heart is going to break regardless. I think Ken's gonna be hurt, to be honest. I don't think he'll show it, at least not for too long. His expression when Peggy called the pact stupid spoke volumes. After Freddy, he's always supported her career. He's always praised the work she's done. He's always stuck by her & even vowed to help her get to Paris.
I was hurt when she called his pact stupid. & especially when she lashed out at him, asking him if they were suddenly interested in each other's lives. Which surprised me because in Signal 30, she was kind of all up in his business when he was meeting with someone about his writing.
I hope Ken goes to talk to her about leaving. I was hoping for him to notice her leaving, but that may just be hopes from my shipper heart. But I do hope that he gets to talk to her about it all because I think they make a fantastic team & I just want them to keep working & interacting with each other.
