How can a being capable of everything be so fragile? You've always compared the human being to a beautiful porcelain doll.

It is not new that you are moved by the greatness created by the hands of your own species, which despite being so magnates, can be fragmented with a foolish misunderstanding.

It is stunning how all the unique features of a piece, created in such a tenuous material, can be forever damaged by the hands of its own kind.

So you couldn't have been less amazed to see how shattered Toby was.

You've always known something was wrong with the boy since you met him.

The process of becoming close was slow, it took a lot of patience and willingness to cross the barrier created by the boy around himself. However, the moment you gained his trust everything was easier, understanding him had become easier.

While a beautiful young romance blossomed between you, Toby was able to learn many things beneficial to him.

The boy would say: “I will love you forever, I want to make you happy”;

Then you would answer: “I accept all your love. But before you make me happy, give yourself the happiness and love you deserve”.

In this way you showed him how to be kinder to himself. Now he doesn't see a monster in the mirror, but someone who deserves love.

When he was overflowing with feelings that he was never taught to display in a healthy way, you showed him how to handle whatever he was feeling. Now, when the boy is angry, sad or happy he can understand what and why he is feeling and deal with his emotions in a healthy way.

Whenever Tobias found himself in some state of shock or panic because of his traumatic memories coming back to the surface, he would do terrible things to himself in order to ease his suffering.

So you introduced him to various hobbies so that he could face any negative emotion and trauma in a healthy way.

Now he is interested in learning about new activities and never feels bored.

Over a long time Toby began to love every bit of himself, he even sought professional help.

Perhaps you think that you “changed him”, but if there is one thing you would be surprised even the most skeptical is that Tobias knew that the change had to come from him; After all, he fell in love with the most wonderful person he could have ever met, he wanted to be as good to you as you were to him.

This is seriously so beautiful... just the way you write is incredible and definitely reads like you’re an experienced writer who put a lot of thought into this. It captures the heart of Toby’s (largely fanon) character as somebody who wants to get better but doesn’t know how. Ugh, I could go on about how much I love this, and thank you so so so much for sharing with me, this was such a lovely surprise to find in my askbox <3 <3 <3

ooo i'll have to check these out! i love it when you guys give me recommendations for things :)

i have a really weird taste in music, like i don't have one specific kind that i like, it's just... if i like it, i like it and if i don't, i don't. and i'm not usually one to love an artist in particular, like i usually just listen to songs and not pay attention to the artist, but i do have a few that i actually do like pretty much all of their songs:

MARINA (formerly Marina and the Diamonds; my favorite song is probably Bubblegum Bitch but I’ve also been listening to Hermit the Frog and Seventeen a lot lately) 

Nicki Minaj (problematic but damn she makes good music for when you need to hype yourself up; my favorite song is Chun-Li but I also hate that it’s problematic so other than that I’d have to say I’m Legit)

Elton John (old-school but he has such a beautiful voice omg; my favorite song is either Pinball Wizard or Your Song, I like Pinball Wizard because of the beat & it’s fun, but I love how romantic Your Song is & it’s honestly a contender for my wedding song someday!)

Cavetown (kinda problematic but makes good music; my favorite song is either Boys Will Be Bugs or Another One of Those Days) 

Lady Gaga (love the queen of pop; my favorite song is either Judas or Just Dance)

Olivia Rodrigo (i didn’t think i would like her but i actually really do; my favorite song is Good 4 You)

Girl In Red (absolute sapphic icon; my favorite song is either Bad Idea or I Wanna Be Your Girlfriend)

Mother Mother (an iconic band that i think a lot of creepypasta fans actually already know & like; my favorite song is either It’s Alright or Bit By Bit)

these are just some artists i recommend that i like most of their songs. i also have separate recommendations for songs & for gay/bi playlist lol
