laena's expression softened as her daughter's words registered in her mind. she wants both of her girls to do well, to do the best they possibly can. she knows their experiences will be different since only had been able to have a dragon egg hatch. that alone doesn't change how she views either of them. "baela, sweetheart," she leaned down to gently press a kiss to their forehead before pulling back. once she could look into her daughter's eyes again, she smiled. "i know you're doing your best. you're doing a wonderful job and i am proud of you, okay?" she'd been entirely genuine with her words and she hoped baela believed that. because in reality both of her daughters doing their best made her proud.

"I will do something criminal to you if you don't leave me the fuck alone." It wasn't really his fault he was arrested, he was even released soon as the cops realized the mistake, but the gossip aid his bad boy vibes, so he won't deny it. "Why are you even here? Don't you have a freshman to bother?"
