“PAPY YOU LIAR!” Sans said, pouting angrily at Papyrus.

Papyrus in turn, looked at him in deadpan shock. “what?” He asked, lifting a brow questionigly, the action making his glasses reflect light. “what did i do, sans?”

“I didn’t know that you have a very cute little bro, Papyrus.” Undyne giggled, clasping her hands together and smiling at Sans.

Sans harrumphed, turning huffily away from Undyne to glare at Papyrus. “YOU CALLED HER COOL JUST NOW DIDN’T YOU!” He whined, pointing a gloved finger at Undyne.

Papyrus blinked, staring at Undyne then looking at Sans. “…yeah?”

Sans whimpered, face scrunching up in a familiar way.

Papyrus flinched, raising his hands nervously. “h-hey bro. don’t cry!”

“…um…” Undyne scratched her cheek awkwardly.

Sans sniffed, raising his hands to wipe at the tears starting to fall down his cheeks. “YOU SAID THAT I’M THE COOLEST MONSTER.” He sniffed again. “AND THEN YOU JUST CALLED HER COOL TOO!”

Papyrus froze while Undyne started to inch away from the brothers. She thought that this is something that should be solved in private-

Papyrus let out a choked laugh, clasping a hand on his jaw to stop the laugh from coming out. His cheeks blushing orange.

Sans’ face dropped in dismay, sad that his brother is laughing at him.

“nyehe…heheh!”

“MWEH!” Sans squeaked as suddenly arms wrapped around his waist and lifted in the air. “P-PAPY?!” Sans said indignantly as he found himself in a hug.

“you’re so cute bro.” Papyrus drawled, rubbing his cheek to Sans’ skull. “…cute and precious and adorable and…”

“Ehem.” Undyne coughed quietly, catching the attention of Papyrus. “He’s still mad.” She whispered.

“LET ME GO! I DON’T WANT TO BE HUGGED BY A LIAR!” Sans shouted, hitting Papyrus chest.

“sans. listen to me.” Papyrus said, placing a hand on Sans head. “i did call undyne cool but for me you’re still the coolest monster in the whole underground.”

Sans wiggled, staying silent. Papyrus smiled wryly, bending down to place a kiss on Sans’ forehead. “i’m not lying bro. ”

Sans looked down. “PROMISE?” he mumbled.
