Plan

I plan on shooting an image based off of an experience i has in Greece. Unfortunately the pollution was really bad  with most beaches plagued in litter. On a boat near the shore i saw a turtle in the water swimming towards the heavily polluted beach. I really saddened me. 

Using recycled materials i will create an underwater scene showing the turtle in the distance swinging towards the litter.  

development/editing

For each and every piece of rubbish i suspended on some thread shown above, to make it look as if its floating in water. I would then bring the image into photoshop and use the pen tool to carefully cut out the litter . once cut out i would the lower the contrast of the image significantly, lower the exposure and change the hue to a greeny blue. this gives the illusion that the Items are underwater. 

one they are all finished i brought them onto the underwater scene that i made from shining light through a plastic tub of water .and then made blue on photoshop.  

Worksheets 

I watched some videos on how to do psd mockups, which turns out is actually pretty easy. After learning this I applied my images onto different advertising products, and I'm really happy with the outcome. Having postponed this brief for a couple weeks, not feeling too mentally well to deal with it, I think I have passed the briefs needs.

In relation to the client -Glasgow City Council- I believe my images and chosen subject makes sense for their needs. As the idea of tackling rubbish, wastage and the lack of recycling and reusing which is a big problem in Glasgow specifically. I believe this campaign could help in these areas.

For my presentation board, I decided to use the Glasgow city council colours on the background, to help the association with Glasgow and the client specifically. I picked some of my better mockups and edits that I created while doing the worksheet and decided to use them on the board. I also added more text and the logo again to further the association with the client and make clearer what the initiative is.
