Prepositions are hard for everyone. I see lots of native English speakers using them wrong in fic all the time. (It’s ‘by’ accident, not ‘on’ accident, dammit!)

Yeah, I've found that native speakers are more likely to make weird mistakes than ESL writers. It's probaly easier to keep then and than apart if they're two very distinct words for you, and few ESL writers would even think of writing "could of" instead of "could have". But if you never question it, how are you to know it's wrong?

i love writing longhand. it’s my preferred way to write, actually

Longhand is so, so great. I have so many notebooks in my drawer that are filled with fic or snippets.

10. What’s your biggest writer pet-peeve?

Having to look up prepositions all the effing time. That’s what you get for writing in a foreign language, I guess. It’s also tricky sometimes to keep track of all the colloquialisms, like, “Hmm, was it ‘hit by a twofer’ or ‘hit by a two-by-four’? What’s a two-by-four anyway?” Cue Google and another ten minutes at least lost to etymology.

19. Do you prefer writing on a computer or longhand?

Yes. ;p

It depends on all sorts of things, actually. Am I writing a character piece? Probably longhand. Am I going to need to look up a lot of terminology? Probably computer. Is it introspective? Longhand. Is it crack? Computer. Is it a multi-chapter thing? Framework and catchy lines in longhand, actual story with expanded framework on the computer. Or single chapters in longhand when I’m bored/out of love with the PC/more comfy lying on the bed /taking a trip on the train or bus. 

Longhand gives me more time to think about the next sentences as I write, so the stories that come out that way tend to be less rushed and have a calmer narrative voice than what I write on the computer. I prefer longhand, but as I grow older and my stories grow longer, my wrist is no longer up to the task. (Broke it twice in the same place; it’s been unhappy with me ever since.)

34. Describe your writing space.

That depends on where I am? Computer-wise, I’m stuck in my happy-happy-fun room: plush carpet, multicoloured walls, surrounded by books and comics and dvds and various fannish stuff I got over the years, like a wooden blue tulip or a tiny angry!Rodney plushie. I sit on the floor with the tv as my monitor and write along.

YES! in the half light, maybe they're marthoning something or maybe not, maybe one of them was/is reading or on their phone or just sitting and breathing and speaking in half sentences if something feels like it wants to come out
