ingrid had always kept you at an arms length during your time at the officer's academy. but only once you two got separated during the war did she begin to wish she would've allowed herself to be more open with you. and so when you two finally reunited, she didn't hold back this time!

“y-you're really here again! after all those years…” ingrid stared at you, a smile slowly forming on her lips, before she couldn't hold herself back anymore and wrapped her arms around you, pulling you into a tight hug.

“please, never leave me again…” she mumbled into the embrace. “i didn't know how much i needed you until you were gone…”
