Must Try Menu Additions at Paradise Dynasty
I think it goes without saying because itâs pretty obvious : I LOVE FOOD.Â
I can go on all day talking about all my favourite food but if thereâs one cuisine Iâm especially inclined towards, itâs Chinese food.
ESPECIALLY XIAO LONG BAO. Man, i love Xiao Long Bao! I am never not craving for Xiao Long Bao.Â
Since its opening in 2016, Paradise Dynasty has gained recognition for their splurge-worthy Xiao Long Bao. Aside from the usual, typical xiao long bao we all love, Paradise Dynasty also offers this crowd-favourite in many different flavors - which I would be sharing with everyone later on.Â
Sure, itâs good. Great, even. But if you think itâs all Paradise Dynasty has to offer, youâve got it all wrong. Luckily for me, I got invited to an exclusive lunch that gave me first taste of the restaurantâs newest food offerings.Â
Whatâs a trip to Paradise Dynasty without geting some of their Xiao Long Bao, right?Â
As Iâve mentioned earlier on, they offer Xiao Long Bao in many different flavors, namely : Ginseng, Garlic, Black Truffle, Crab Roe, Foie Gras, Szechuan and Cheese. Personally, my top two favourites aside from Original are Cheese and Black Truffle.Â
Now, on to the much awaited, part : their newest dishes.Â
New Dish #1 : Shanghai Style Braised Pork BellyÂ
Super soft, not too salty and also not to sweet. Very flavorful. The Pechay goes well with it too! The perfect pairing to go with rice.Â
New Dish #2 : Salted Egg PrawnsÂ
This one looked really, really, really good but I didnât get to try it because Iâm allergic to certain seafood such as this one. Based off the reactions of my lunch maters, however - itâs a must try!Â
New Dish #3: Grilled Grouper with Tofu in Mapu Tofu StyleÂ
I couldnât really describe its exact taste but if youâre a fan of spicy food and love putting your taste buds to the test - this dish is something you will enjoy. Itâs not the type of dish you get to try everyday.Â
New Dish #4 : Grouper with Pine Nuts and FruitsÂ
Just like the sweet and sour dishes we all love - BUT BETTER. Despite it being super saucy, the flavor doesnât overpower the freshness of the fish used. Perfect for barkadas of families of 4 to 5 people.Â
New Dish #5 : Deep Fried Duck and Steamed BunsÂ
Chronologically speaking, this dish was the one served right after the Xiao Long Bao. However, I decided to talk about it last because while all the dishes were really good - this is the one I would order again, given the chance.Â
I had my first taste of fried duck the first time I stepped foot in HK back in 2017. Iâve tried it in some other restaurants here but so far, this dish from Paradise Dynasty is the best one yet!Â
If you think about it - itâs actually a super simple dish but with the right amount of crisp, the juicy (and suprisingly, not oily!) youâll be wanting more.Â
Special shoutout to Ms. Chosa for having me over for lunch that day :)Â

On a side note, in case you havenât heard -- Paradise Dynasty has just opened their newest branch in SM AURA! So for your next date, barkada get together or family lunch - you know where to go ;-)Â
