This Queen Street cocktail bar has quickly established itself as an Edinburgh favourite. The décor aims for Prohibition era elegance with flatteringly low-lighting, high-backed leather armchairs and lots of intimate corners. The attention to detail is admirable and, in a nice touch, the drinks list comes bound inside the covers of old books. The bar is well stocked, with a particularly large array of gins and the cocktails, when they come, are very well made with a Hendrick’s martini going down particularly well.
