On another Halloween, Buddy Valastro was asked to make a zombie cake.
The zombies loved the cake. Of course, they fought over the brains. They devoured the cake as soon a it was put on the table. It was quite a sight.
Everyone had a great time and loved the zombie cake. Buddy gets to make some very fun and freaky cake deliveries. I would love to work in his bakery. They have a lot of fun. Especially on Halloween 🧟♂️ 🧟♀️

Yesterday I did absolutely nothing but spend money at Target and then spend more money on True Blood episodes because I can't find any pirated versions for free :(
This morning I met with my orientation group on Zoom which was so awkward--definitely because of the virtual format. They were chatty in person on Tuesday, so I'm going to meet with them in-person next week which I think will be much better.

Finally shaking off the summer haze. Shut myself in the library yesterday to catch up on 9 hours of neuro material from this week. Still feel like I’m behind but that’s just a chronic med school thing.
Case-based problem solving this morning and then dissecting the brain this afternoon!! I’ve never done a dissection before (anatomy lab was canceled last year) and I’m really excited and think it will be a great learning experience.
