The finished project! This is made completely from leftover bits from many other projects and gifted bits. While the materials aren’t made with natural fibers, I don’t think that it takes away from the beauty of this hat. If it was transplanted to the 18th century I think that the materials would not have been considered strange.

Working on the trim. This is taking a lot more time than the black trim but definitely worth the effort.

Soooo... I enjoyed making the black hat entirely too much and now here is the beginnings of a yellow one. Yellow is my absolute favorite colour. It is the colour of sunshine and dandelions.
