Observations

The children don't recognize what the book is, and thus are curious, yet reluctant to touch it.

The children, although quite young, are all equipped with a technological device, e.g.: laptop, mobile phone, portable music device, Remote controlled toy.

Interpretation

This image questions the importance of technology. We can all agree that in one way or another we have personally benefited from advancements in technology, however, this image calls into question whether or not our increasing reliance on technology is healthy.

Specific issues raised in the image are as follows:

The validity of technology as a source of entertainment

The age at which the use of technology becomes essential
