That's a wrap on the chocolate inventors competition! First off, I want to thank everyone who entered and I hope you had fun coming up with the most unique flavor combo you could think of. It's been fun for us just getting to hear all about them (and tasting them!). Whether or not you're a winner you all have the makings of a chocolatier and have sparked the team's inspiration for the future. For those who missed out, don't be discouraged! There's always next time and we'd love to hear your feedback too.
Now onto the exciting bit. My team has been working at lighting speed to create each sample (in fact we went overboard and have leftovers so can send out boxes if you'd like a small batch of your own creation) and, as I suspected, it was a close call and hard to pick a winner with only a handful of votes between our final three ideas. The results are as follows:
3rd Place) 'Truffle Hunters' - bacon infused truffles by Artie Abrams [@hidden-artie-abrams]
2nd) 'Ryder’s Banana Butter Pieces' - a take on the much loved fruit and peanut butter combo [@theoneryderlynn]
And the winner of The Cocoa's River's first chocolate inventors competition and the grand prize of not only getting to create their product for our catalogue but also a $50 gift card is… 1st) 'Welcome Aboard Bradley's Chocolate Express' - a dark chocolate and coffee flavored airplane [@bradleyjackson]
