have you ever wondered if the whole brackendra thing was just Kendra's trauma, needing to feel wanted but having trust issues with relationships and then being around a conventionally attractive and relatively safe person?

Literally going to quit reading this series without finishing it specifically because of the stupid romance between Bracken and Kendra. What do you mean “Bracken is definitely her one and only” and “she loves him so much she’s so worried about him” THEY HAVE NO CHEMISTRY BECAUSE HE HAS NO PERSONALITY OTHER THAN BEING A LOVE INTEREST AND ALSO HE’S LIKE REALLY REALLY OLD. We never see them developing feelings towards each other, never see them slowly becoming better friends and more, never see them changing and growing alongside each other, they literally just meet and we’re supposed to accept that they’re suddenly super in love. I DONT ACCEPT!!!! Like literally the one reason Kendra even gives for being flustered around him is because he’s handsome and then in dragonwatch 2 she meets like a bunch of other handsome guys and she’s like “omg no. think about bracken. CALM YOURSELF KENDRAAAAA”
